MMOA MEZCAL is well known because of Don Jose Perez, a fourth generation master mezcal maker. Our mezcal is made with one of the most exquisite and exotic agaves in the world, the agave Cupreata (known locally as maguey papalote), which is a species native to the Rio Balsas basin in the states of Michoacan and Guerrero. It is found in forests of pine, oak, in pastures, palm groves, and in jungles.
With an impecable beauty featuring the art of painter Leonés Alejandro López, our bottle is noted for paying homage to our inspiration….women.
